DETLING KIT CAR SHOW (PART 1)
February 2007 : Starting to England : kingdom of exceptionnal cars and diversity !
We board, friends and I, to Detling, a smart London's suburb near Maidstone.
Our goal : Discover English kitcar's world from inside. We have rent a stand on the exhibition to show my friend's kitcar prototype and test the people's reactions.
Detling is the earliest England Kitcar show of the year and one of the most expected ehhibition after the winter's season. Visitors are impatient to rediscover their favourite activity after a long waiting !
Arrived on the show, we start our stand installation : prototype getting out the van, assembling of it, furniture installation... a short afternoon and all is ready !
Our spoken english level shows its limits but we manage.
It's our stand !
English people are mad :-) ... and beatiful bodies lovers.
On the trip between Eurotunnel wharf and Maidstone, we've seen an impressive number of convertibles, coupé and sports cars and at least ten Aston Martin!
Detling Kit Car Show is organized in two parts : a covered one in big hangars where you can find
kit car manufacturers and spare parts resellers and outside one where you find clubs.
